What we cover, and where we are still thin.

Every vendor's coverage page is written to look big. This one also has to say what is shallow, because you find that out in week two either way — and only one version of that conversation survives a renewal.

Geographies

Geography Principal sources Depth today
United Kingdom GB Planning portals, Find a Tender, Companies House, NESO connection register Deepest
Germany DE Federal and Länder permitting, Marktstammdatenregister, Bundesanzeiger Building
United States US FERC, EIA, state PUCs, SAM.gov, EDGAR Building
Brazil BR ANEEL, IBAMA, ComprasNet Early
India IN CEA, MoEFCC, CPPP Early
Gulf states GULF Regulator filings, tender portals, operator disclosures Early

All six run from day one rather than being added as separate products, because a geography added later is one whose rules were retrofitted. Depth differs, and the accuracy page publishes the difference per geography rather than averaging it away.

Sectors — one dataset, not five products

Power and grid

Generation, storage, transmission, interconnection

Oil, gas and chemicals

Refining, petrochemicals, LNG, terminals

Metals and mining

Smelters, DRI-EAF, processing, cathode inputs

Manufacturing

Gigafactories, semiconductor fabs, process plants

Infrastructure

Data centres, water, ports, rail

A data-centre campus is at once construction, grid, power demand and water. It appears once here, joined — not split across products you have to buy separately.

Twelve classes of source

Ranked, not treated equally. A signed regulatory decision outranks a press release, and the ranking is why disagreements resolve to the better-evidenced answer rather than to an average.

Where we are genuinely behind

Contact depth. The incumbents have decades of named plant contacts built from phone calls. Ours starts empty and accrues slowly. If your buying decision rests on calling a named maintenance manager tomorrow, they are still better at that than we are.

Turnaround coverage. Planned shutdown windows mostly are not published anywhere; they come from relationships. We model turnarounds as first-class objects so we accrue them properly, and we expect this to take years rather than months.

Both are on the comparison page too, because a coverage page that only grows is one nobody believes.
